Fall Weather!

This morning we woke up to fall weather! I'm pretty sure it's not really fall and that next week we will have temperatures well into the 90's, but we took advantage of it today while we could. When we got home from work we headed out to the park for a walk and to let Julia play. She had a blast on the playground.
The swings were her favorite!

She had a run-in with a table leg at school today and has a pretty good goose egg over her left eye. You can't really see it in these pictures, but I'm afraid it may leave a nasty bruise!

Tropical Storm Lee = Lazy Day & First Family Movie Night!

Since Tropical Storm Lee was making its way towards us this morning we didn't make it to church. We've been slackers the past month or so but have got to get back in the habit of going! Julia was watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (her FAVORITE) in our bedroom and Michael turned the TV to church. Tracy was singing when he flipped the channel and as soon as she heard it she came into the living room and took a seat on her circus set to watch! She loved the singing but quickly lost interest when it was over.
We had planned on taking Julia to see The Smurfs movie in Dothan this afternoon but it was raining so bad that we turned around when we got to Level Plains. Instead we spent our afternoon at Wal-Mart! I put her hair in pig tails before we left the house today. This is the first time she's worn pig tails and between them and her jean shorts and tennis shoes she looked SO grown! I'm not sure I liked it!
We tried out a new recipe for crock pot ravioli for dinner tonight. It was super easy and Julia seemed to enjoy it!
A little dramatic, as usual!
Since we didn't make it to the movie this afternoon we all piled up in our bed after dinner and watched Toy Story. I was pretty surprised that Julia stayed awake and attentive to the movie the whole time.
We had a perfectly lazy day and get to do it all over again tomorrow! Yay for three day weekends!

It's College Gameday!

Julia woke up ready for football this morning!
We went over to Rodney and Sabrina's to watch the games this morning and let Julia and Caroline play. It won't be much longer until Miss Isla Cate is here to play with them too! We all had a great time and Auburn and Alabama both won so everyone was happy!
Thanks for the cute gameday dress, Aunt Megs!

This is typically how we see Julia, running!
What a difference a year makes!

Football Friday - Round 2!

Nana brought Julia to the Daleville Pep Rally today. Julia loved it. The Daleville fight song is to the tune of the Auburn fight song so Julia new what to do when she heard it. She shook her arm like she had a shaker. She cheered and took it all in.
"Grandma Jan" and Julia enjoying the pep rally

This evening we went to the Enterprise/Northview game at Wildcat Stadium. I was skeptical about Julia sitting still for that long, but she did great! We sat with Charity and their seats are on the front row of the lower deck. It was perfect because Julia had a little bit of room to get down without worrying about her bothering other people. It also had a chain length fence so she could sit on the ground and watch everything that was going on instead of having to sit in our lap. We were able to stay for the entire game, which ended about 10:00.
Soaking it up
A perfect seat for Julia!
Julia got a little restless in the fourth quarter, but entertained herself by tearing apart our napkins!
She LOVED the band! She danced the whole time. I wish I hadn't quit recording so soon. Right after she put her cup down she clapped with everyone and said "yay".
With our not-so-baby-girl after the game. I think she has definitely inherited our love of football, which is a good thing since she has to live with us for the next 17 years or so. :)

By the way, Enterprise won 17-0!

Busy Day!

We had our new bedroom furniture delivered this afternoon! YAY! Since it was being delivered between 3:00 and 5:00 and I had a ton of other stuff I needed to do I took a half day this afternoon. I'm glad I did because the delivery guys showed up at 2:00! I definitely wouldn't have been there if I had stayed at school all day. I finished these shirts for the cheerleaders as well as made these cute shirts and bloomers for Julia and Harrison.

Julia has had fun playing in our old dresser drawers while we moved all our clothes into our new furniture.

A little dramatic, as usual!

Here is a picture of our furniture right after the delivery guys left. We bought some wall mounted lamps that we will hopefully hang this weekend, then we'll be looking for new bedding!
