Doctor Charlotte

Julia wasn't feeling very well after school today.  After dance we quickly realized why, she had a 101 fever! Dr. Charlotte took good care of her until we shipped Charlotte off to GranDi and Granddad's to try to keep the germs separated! She was upset this afternoon because her field trip to the zoo tomorrow got canceled, but it seems like that was a good thing because she couldn't have gone tomorrow anyway! Looks like we'll be spending our Friday at the doctor's office instead of the zoo!

Busy Day!

We've had gorgeous weather and a busy day today! 

Ms. Zoey posted these pictures of Charlotte at school today. I love that she has so much fun at school. She is going to be SO sad when Ms. Zoey moves this summer.

After I got both the girls this afternoon we went to the gym. The girls insisted on wearing their workout clothes too!

After the gym we ate dinner and walked over to the ball fields. Julia has been asking to go watch Tucker. Of course he was playing at the field furthest from us! The upside was that we got to watch some more of Julia's friends that we happened upon!

It was a gorgeous afternoon that made me SO ready for summer! Only a few more weeks of school left!

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

Julia's choir sang in church this morning. She looked beautiful and did a great job!

Ice Cream Face

Charlotte and I had an ice cream date to Milky Moo's today. She was sad that they no longer have her favorite flavor, Turtle Cheesecake, but she didn't complain about the chocolate!

Fun Day!

Today was Fun Day at Small Steps. Charlotte had fun jumping in the bounce house and eating ice cream. I wish we got Fun Day at the high school! 

Grandparent's Day!

Charlotte came into my room to get me in the middle of the night. She wanted me to lay down with her. I was so comfy in my bed, but just look at that sweet face I got to wake up to!

 

Today was Grandparent's Day at EEEC. Julia had Nonny, Nanny, Pop, GranDi, and Granddad there to eat lunch with her! 

Julia's class sang a song for their grandparents. The videos not the best because I snagged it from Facebook, but it's better than nothing!

 

While all the grandparents were at school with Julia Charlotte came to hang out with me at school. She loved being at the high school for a little bit! 

We're halfway to the weekend folks!

Birmingham

We got up this morning and headed downtown to Children's for Julia's appointment with the pediatric pulmonologist. Fortunately they were able to rule out seizures, apnea or any other major health problems as the cause for all of Julia's sleep walking. Unfortunately we walked away without many answers.

 After Julia's appointment we drove around downtown and did a little sightseeing on the UAB campus. The girls wanted their picture made with Blaze.

 

We ate lunch at Melt and headed over to the Galleria for some shopping and a ride on the carousel. 

 

Tonight we met Meghan and Ed for dinner at Chuck's. The girls love Aunt Megs were definitely excited to see her tonight! 

 

Tomorrow we're going to the McWane Center before we head home and Meghan and Ed are coming with us. I'm not sure who's most excited!
