Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! We got up this morning and went to church, then I treated myself to much needed manicure and pedicure while Julia and Michael got some good Daddy/Daughter bonding time. They napped and watched the NASCAR race at Talladega! This evening we trick-or-treated the grandparents a day late (Enterprise had trick-or-treating last night) and went to the Hallelujah Carnival at church. Julia was the cutest pumpkin there! She may not remember her first Halloween but we sure had fun dressing her up and showing off our cute little pumpkin!

We started to walk to Bates Memorial Stadium to Hillcrest's fall festival but it was too hot!

Julia loves dogs!

Pumpkins & Pears!

Julia's Halloween outfit finally came in the mail today! I was afraid it wasn't going to be here in time, I was already making plans to go to Dothan tomorrow afternoon to find her another one! Have you ever seen a cuter pumpkin?!
Julia tried pears tonight for the first time. We have yet to find anything she doesn't like! She gets so excited when she sees that spoon coming towards her mouth!

Yummy pears!

Look at how wide she opens her mouth!

FOOD!!

Love those squishy cheeks!

This evening we headed out to the Daleville football game for a little while. It was so cold! They played Straughn in their last game of the regular season, playoffs start next week. Julia looked so cute in her little princess dress!

Julia's First Pep Rally

Julia and I got up this morning and did some shopping at Wal-Mart before heading back to Nana & Pop's to do a little more sewing. Julia was so excited about going to Wal-Mart that she fell asleep in the cart. This was the first time she sat in the front of the cart. She's still a tad small and unstable for it but she did pretty good. I put her blanket on one side and propped her that way.

Getting a good nap in at Wal-Mart
This afternoon Natalie and I took Harrison and Julia to the Enterprise pep rally. Julia was captivated by everything going on!

Julia changed teams tonight to cheer for Daleville as they played Dale County at home. Carie & Betsy even ventured to the game to keep us company!

Julia's First Boo Boo

Julia & I spent the day at Nana and Pop's sewing away with Nana and Mama. I've been busy monogramming and appliquing things, I love my new embroidery machine! This afternoon Julia leaned forward in her swing and plopped out on the hardwood floor in the kitchen. She has a little goose egg over her right eye, but I'm sure it's ust the first of many!
