Pastor Appreciation Month

October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Tonight we had a special service led by the children. The children had the opportunity to shadow the ministers on Sunday mornings all month and tonight we had a Q and A with the pastors. Julia volunteered to ask a question.
At the end of the service the children presented the pastors with signs they have made in R.A.'s and G.A.'s all month.
It was a sweet service and Julia loved being in the spotlight!

Team Up Against Drugs!

Today was "Team Up Against Drugs" for Red Ribbon week. Of course Julia had to wear her Auburn "jersey"!
Today was a "Nonny Day" for Charlotte since she didn't have school. I got this picture while I was at school today. I want a Nonny Day soon!

Stomp Out Drugs!

Today was "Stomp Out Drugs" for Red Ribbon Week.  The first graders got a special treat and went to the junior college to trick-or-treat and were treated to a performance by the Entertainers. Unfortunately, parents were not allowed to go, but Miss Ward sent me some pictures and Jessica was there to take a few for me too.
Julia slept awful last night. Apparently the Entertainers show was a perfect place to catch up on some sleep!

"Lei" Off Drugs!'

Today was the first day of Red Ribbon Week for Julia.  Today's theme was "Lei" Off Drugs. We didn't have any lei's but we did have a Hawaiian print dress, and yes, it was warm enough to wear a sleeveless dress today!
This week is also Fall Festival week at dance so the girls get to wear costumes to class this week. Charlotte went as "Princess Charlotte" and Julia went as a pink superhero!
This is the start to a busy, but fun week. I'm already looking to our teacher workday on Friday!
