Programs & Field Trips & Christmas! Oh my!

Charlotte had her first Christmas program this morning. She was so excited about everyone coming to watch her sing at school. She must have said a hundred times "you come watch me sing?"
"Look at my happy face, Mama!"
Oh, I see this face a lot...
I had to laugh at this picture. The three of them stood with their hands in their mouths for most of the program!

For as much as she's been singing these songs at the house the past few weeks she didn't sing much on stage, but she didn't cry and she stood there happy so I'll count that a success!
Julia came to her program too, but it was impossible to get a picture of them together. Unfortunately Dad & Granddad had to work so they weren't able to come, but they've both already watched the video!

After Charlotte's program Julia and I went to All About Art to meet her class to paint Christmas ornaments. She's been asking to go for months so she was extra excited about this field trip!
After Julia's field trip & Charlotte's school we met Michael at Chick-Fil-A for lunch. This afternoon was naps, play doh, and painting before dance class for Julia & dinner at Saki with Granddad & GranDi. It was a perfect day off, too bad I still have 3 days of work this week!

Pizza Party!

Michael got the girls stuff to make their own pizza tonight. Charlotte had fun putting all the toppings on hers, but Julia was too partied out to participate! She was sound asleep on the couch before the fun even began!

Downtown Fun

Today was the Christmas Open House in downtown Enterprise. All the stores had activities for the kids and refreshments. Shoppes on Main had Elsa and a build-a-snowman activity.

All About Art had ornament painting set up on the sidewalk outside. The girls both chose a gingerbread man to paint.
Julia was so excited to have her picture made "just like I'm holding up Billy the Boll Weevil", of course Charlotte had to have hers made too.

Shopaholic had a station set up outside to write a letter to Santa. Charlotte was very into writing her letter, but I don't have a clue what she told Santa she wanted! Julia's list consisted of "a real live horse, a saddle, stir ups, and all kinds of other horse accessories".
Of course the highlight of the day for Julia was the Clydesdale. We waited almost an hour to take a ride around the block, but it was worth it.

We had a fun morning downtown and spent the afternoon getting the house ready to put up the Christmas tree later this week! I'm trying to respect the turkey, but I don't think we're going to make it to Thursday!

Indians & Turkeys

Julia had her first Thanksgiving program today at Miss Julie's. It was precious. She was precious. Everything was precious. She did such a good job, I was one proud mama!
Charlotte was there too, but she wasn't too interested in taking a picture. Julia kept taking her headband off and saying "Look Cha Cha, it's just me, Julia".

We got out of school this afternoon for a whole week! Woo hoo!  The girls and I celebrated with some outside playtime while we waited on Daddy to get home. Their favorite part was the wagon ride. I hope this beautiful weather sticks around and we get lots of outside playtime in this week!
