Muffins with Mom & Fry Word Hall of Fame!

Today was Muffins with Mom at Charlotte's school. She was super excited that she got to come to school with me for a little bit before we went to her school. When we got to her school she colored me a card and gave me the gifts she made for me before we went to the fellowship hall and had muffins. She was so sweet and so proud that I was there with her. I loved spending some one-on-one time with her!

This afternoon I got a text from a sweet friend with these pictures. Julia finally got tested for her 100 fry words today and got to put her name on the Fry Word Hall of Fame! She's been working so hard for this and we're so proud of her!  When I showed her her next set of 100 fry words her eyes got real big and she said "Oh. My. Goodness. There are more!?" HAHA!

 

It's been a busy first 3 days of May and I don't think it's going to slow down this month!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! That was the first thing out of Julia's mouth as soon as she woke up and Charlotte was right behind her with it. We got up this morning and made it to church in time for Sunday School and service which is a rare event lately, but this morning we even had time for some pictures before we left. Michael & the girls brought me Bo Jangles for breakfast and gave me my presents, a Fitbit & memory cards to take more pictures of the girls!

After church we went to lunch at Torerro's with the family. The food was good, but it took us almost two hours to eat!

 This afternoon we enjoyed some popsicle's outside in the gorgeous weather. I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of the girls day.

Michael cooked a London Broil for dinner tonight, it was so good! When Julia was saying the blessing she thanked God for all the mother's on the Earth and she hoped they had the best Mother's Day ever. She kept asking me all day if this was the best Mother's Day ever. Charlotte kept saying "I don't wub you, Mama. Just kidding! I do wub you! Nanny nanny boo boo!" And that my friends, is each of their personalities to a T!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! The girls let me sleep in just a little bit, to about 8:00. When we got up they both had a bag of Reese cups for me. Charlotte brought me a bag of Reese cup minis and said "ope ope" until I opened them and gave them one. Michael mentioned that they would be good cold so Julia took the rest of the bag and scattered them all over the refrigerator! They also got me sweet cards and a gift card for some new clothes! When I opened my present Julia looked at Michael and said "Daddy! We were supposed to get her a ring with diamonds all over it!" :) 

Aunt CC gave Julia this Lilly dress when she was a teeny tiny baby and we've been waiting for her to grow into it. We tried it on this morning and it finally fit!

After church we went to Rodeo's for lunch, over to GranDi's and Granddads for a few minutes and then home. After Charlotte's nap the girls played in the yard. Shortly after this picture was taken they turned the water hose on and soaked each other!

And, just for fun, here's our last 5 Mother's Days. I'm so thankful for these two girls that call me mama!

Happy Mother's Day!

Charlotte wanted to make sure that we got to spend plenty of time together on her first Mother's Day. She woke up bright and early at 6:00 ready for the day. Michael went to get us breakfast at the gas station per Julia's request and then we headed to church. 

After church we had lunch at Nana and Pops followed by naps and dinner at Granddad and GranDi's. I haven't felt very good today so I was happy to lay low. I think the madness of the end of school combined with Julia's birthday party is finally catching up with me. I'm just worn out!

I've enjoyed spending time with my sweet girls and I can't wait until school is out in two weeks so I can spend all day with them!

Julia and I started off our morning with Muffins with Mommy at her school. We drew a picture in her classroom and then went to the fellowship hall for muffins and juice.

This afternoon I got down some of the modeling clay that Julia got for her birthday and let her play with it. You'll never guess what she made me - a green tractor!
