A Thursday

I hate having to wake sleeping girls in the morning! I think it's more torture on me than it is on them because I never know when they're going to sleep that peaceful again! HA!

Julia sleeps with her little hands folded underneath her head. I love it when she does it, she looks so sweet.
Charlotte has started paying attention to what's going on more. While I was getting ready this morning I put her in her bouncy seat and let her watch Praise Baby.

Julia got her school pictures back today. There were some that were quite humorous and others that were OK!
We're still attempting the potty training. I'm not really pushing it but she wanted to sit on the potty today so I got it out. She sat on it in our bedroom and watched Disney Junior. Maybe she'll catch on soon!

My sweet girl is getting so big! Here's to a good night's rest!

Naps & Potty Time

Today was our usual Wednesday of gymnastics. Julia wanted to take Charlotte so we did. She slept the whole time which made it easier on me. Julia fell asleep on our way home and took a 3 hour nap! Charlotte ate as soon as we got home and then went to sleep for about as long. It was so nice for them to both nap at the same time, I actually got things accomplished today!

They both woke up in a good mood from their naps. Julia got some sweet smiles from Charlotte.

When Julia woke up from her nap we took her diaper off and brought the potty into the room where we were. I made her sit on her for a little while and then let her get off, but kept asking her every few minutes if she needed to go potty. She finally went just a little bit, but we celebrated like she had just won the Super Bowl and even called Daddy. I was getting Charlotte ready for church about 20 minutes later and Julia ran into Charlotte's room and told me she had gone tee tee in the potty again. I fully expected to find an empty potty, but she had gone again. So, tonight after church we went to Chill to celebrate going tee tee in the potty. From the time she woke up from her nap until she went to bed she didn't wet a single diaper. Fingers crossed that she keeps it up!

Trike-a-Thon

We woke up to cold weather this morning so I bundled my girls up. I took Charlotte with me to vote this morning and of course, everyone thought she so cute because she is!

Julia had a trike-a-thon at school this morning for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Charlotte and I went to watch her ride her tricycle (aka Uncle Blake's tractor) after we voted. She and Payton swapped rides. Payton really wanted to ride the tractor so she swapped for his tricycle. She kept saying "Wee! It's fun!"

Look at how much she's changed since last year's Trike-a-Thon!

Happy Birthday, Nonny!

Julia and Charlotte had a play date this morning with Libby, Susie, and Annie. When I got out of the shower I found Julia giving Charlotte a bottle. I asked her if she thought Charlotte was hungry and she said "Of course, Mama. She was crying." It's a good thing the bottle was still good!
Julia had a good time playing with Libby and Susie which resulted in a good nap this afternoon! I didn't even get a picture of Annie and Charlotte together, they both slept the whole time!
This afternoon Julia and I went to Publix to get a cake for Mom's birthday. We started with the cake and candles. Then Julia delcared that we needed party hats, pretzels, and balloons. She settled for party hats and a Mickey Mouse balloon.

Tonight we went to Uncle Tom's council swearing in and then to dinner at Rodeo's.
Julia helped Nonny open her gifts.
Nonny got a new phone!
She was complaining all night because her phone wasn't working!

Happy birthday, Nonny!
We had a larger crowd than usual. Brenda, Dave, Amy, and Mike were in town for their aunt's funeral so they joined us. I hate the circumstances, but it was great to see them!
They brought the sombrero out and sang happy birthday to Mom. When they put the sombrero on Mom's head Julia freaked out. She did not like it!
Hope you had a good birthday, Nonny!

Auburn Girls

We finally made it to church again today. We went to Sunday School, but didn't brave "big church" with Charlotte.

When we were getting ready and loading up the car, which now takes at least 3 trips to the car - one for each of the girls and one for the bags, I called for Julia. She answered me by saying "I'm right here". I walked outside to find her sitting in the car. When I looked at her she giggled. I asked her what she was doing and she said "I just sitting in your chair, Mama." and giggled again.
Since the Tigers won yesterday I put the girls in the Auburn dresses for church today. I thought we better milk this win for all it's worth because it will probably be our last one of the season!

This has been a relaxing weekend with my sweet little family, but Daddy's back to work tomorrow!

Outdoor Fun

After naptime this afternoon we took the girls outside for a little bit. Julia wanted to ride her tractor and we pulled the stroller out for Charlotte to sit in.

Cheese!

She wanted me to ride with her, how could I tell her no?

We've had a low key Saturday, just what we needed!
