Baseball & Growing Babies!

After a long day at school today I picked the girls up and headed home. I put Charlotte on the floor in the living room with a few toys while I did a little straightening up. She was doing her usual hollering because she isn't mobile enough yet to get to what she wants. When I looked over there this is what I found! I am SO not ready for this! I really hope this doesn't mean she's going to skip crawling and go straight to walking!

Tonight we went to dinner at Cutts and to watch Brayden and Bryant's T-ball game.  We had planned to walk up there but the weather looked a little iffy so we decided to drive. Julia enjoyed the game, but when we got there she said "Mama, this is different. Those people are little." The only other baseball game she's ever been to was the Braves game last Memorial Day so I guess she was expecting that! She had fun running the bases with the boys after the game though!

Spring Swing

Mom picked Julia up this morning and took her to Sunday School and we met them at church. Last weekend Julia picked out a plant at Lowe's and we planted it and put it on the front porch. When they left to go to church Mom told her that her flower was pretty. She replied with "Thank you. It makes me sad it's growing up so fast." Ha! Think she's heard that a time or two?

After church we met Granddad, GranDi and Sarah for lunch at Santa Fe. Julia can't go there without getting on the bull!
When we got home I tried to get a picture of the girls. GranDi bought these outfits for Sarah & Julia at a Ragsland show I had at my house when I was pregnant with Julia and now Julia and Charlotte are wearing them!

After some long afternoon naps we headed up to the park for the FBCE Spring Swing. They had an adult V  youth softball game along with relay games and inflatables for the kids. We took Sarah with us and she and Julia had a good time playing.

Hopping back to the starting line during a relay race!

She was really into the softball game!
I love that little half smile!
Happy girl!

Both the girls are in bed and we have officially started our countdown to summer vacation. Only 4 Mondays left!

A Pictureless Post

I can't believe I didn't take any pictures today!

We got up this morning and headed to Ozark for Miss Stella's first birthday party. Julia had fun playing on the playground and Charlotte had fun people watching.

After the party we headed home for naps and then Tucker, Amber, and Jesse came over for dinner. We had a good time visiting and Julia and Tucker played hard. You know you're with good friends when they jump up and grab your baby when she starts crying so that you can eat with both hands! So blessed to have such good friends!

Six Flags!

This is how Michael and I spent our Friday. We left at 5:00 this morning and just got back to the house about 30 minutes ago. They didn't have all the rides open but we did get to ride most of the roller coasters that we wouldn't normally get to ride if we had the girls with us! I think everyone had a good time and all 38 kids and 7 chaperons were well behaved!

Another Monday

I had another mini photo shoot with Charlotte this afternoon. We walked over to Hillcrest and while I didn't get any as good as yesterdays  I did get some good ones.

This baby doll has become her security blanket. She has to have it to go to sleep at night, thank goodness we have two of them!

Julia and Michael walked with us and played while we took pictures. Julia had fun just running in circles in the big field!

It was so nice out tonight so the girls and I played outside while Michael cooked breakfast for dinner.
After dinner tonight Michael and Julia went over to his parents. Julia decided that she needed to go dressed as Snow White, complete with gloves and shoes!
While Michael and Julia were gone I gave Charlotte a bath. She was so funny playing with all the bath toys. I guess Julia is usually playing with them so she doesn't get a chance. She kept the fish in her mouth just about the whole time she was in the bath!
 Charlotte likes fish!

When Julia got out of the bath tonight she was in the mood to entertain. She got Michael and I in the same room and said "Ladies and Gentlemen. Welcome to the talent show, I'm Julia the Great. Hit it Mommy" and proceeded to sing the ABC's! Then she told us her tummy was grumbly and she needed to eat breakfast. She's such an entertainer!

Sunday Sweeties

We decided to head to Dothan this afternoon. There were some errands I wanted to run so we went  to Moe's for lunch and then did a little shopping.

Julia was pouting this morning. I don't even remember why, probably because I wouldn't let her have chocolate for breakfast!

When we got back from Dothan I took some pictures of Charlotte. This is the dress that Mom made for her baby dedication back in November. She was in a smiley mood today!

We ate dinner at Granddad and Grandi's tonight. I was getting the girls stuff together and Julia went missing. I found her in my lipstick. When I asked her what she was doing she just looked at me and smiled and said "Do I look gorgeous, Mommy?" Never a dull moment!

The Strawberry Patch!

Julia had her very first field trip today! We dropped Charlotte off with Nonny and headed to the scooter store to get some breakfast. Julia chose powdered donuts and juice.

After breakfast we headed to school to meet up with Julia's friends and then we headed to the strawberry patch. Julia had fun picking (and eating) the strawberries, but most of the kids were pretty over it after about 30 minutes.

Cooper & Julia were ready to pick strawberries!

When we were done at the strawberry patch I dropped Julia off at Nonny's and headed to school. This afternoon Charlotte and I have been helping Mom get her booth ready at Nantucket's. Julia and Michael met us for dinner next door at Annie's. Charlotte was so sleepy that she fell asleep before we even got off the block!
