Happy Easter!

He is risen! He is risen indeed!  We had a rainy Easter Sunday here, but we made the best of it. The Easter Bunny stopped by last night and brought some treats for the girls, we went to church this morning, had lunch at Mom's and dinner at Shannon and Eleson's. The girls didn't get to have any Easter egg hunts today because of the rain but they had fun playing with their cousins anyway. So much to be thankful for today!

The girls got swimsuits, cover ups, sunglasses, sidewalk chalk and candy in their Easter baskets.

Beach Babes

The girls (Julia) have been begging to go to the beach for Spring Break so today Mom, the girls and I loaded up and headed to Panama City.  Even though it was freezing (high of 73 and WINDY) the girls insisted on putting their swimsuits on and even played in the edge of the water.

Tonight we cooked dinner at the beach house, made a trip to Dollar Tree for puzzles, and hung out at home. The girls are going to be sad to head home tomorrow but I need it to warm up a little before I'm ready to spend my days on the beach!

100 Book Club!!

Julia read her 100th book of Kindergarten tonight! A few weeks ago at Reading Night that she didn't actually have to read the books by herself, we just had to read them together. By then she had already read 88 books by herself so we stuck with making her read them herself, so Julia read 100 books all by herself in Kindergarten!

EEEC Trike-a-thon!

This morning was the Trike-a-Thon at EEEC. I was able to go over and see Julia's class ride their trike's. They took turns riding the trikes and played while they were waiting for their next turn to ride.

  

Tonight Julia was in the Relay for Life pageant. She got second runner up, but I think those judges were crazy! :) She did awesome and I was so proud of her!

I was so proud of Julia, she clapped for everyone when they got their awards.

It was a long, busy day and we're ready for a relaxing weekend now!
