Rainbow Day and Wildcat Football!

Today was the last day of color days, Rainbow Day!  Julia has loved color days, I just hate she had to miss 3 of them!
She was pretending she had a pet ladybug on her finger.
Tonight was the Wildcats first regular season game. The girls had fun cheering for the Wildcats and seeing their friends.
Here come the Wildcats!
McKenzie, Julia, Cooper & Cole
Ellington & Charlotte
The girls were so excited to see their pictures in the football program!
When we got home from the ball game tonight Charlotte went straight to sleep and Julia, Michael, and I had a "big girl" S'mores date. She loved it, and so did we!
She found her Duck Dynasty beard in her dress up box and thought it was hilarious.
We've had such a fun day and night. This house is so glad football is back!

Gray & Pink Day and Downtown Pep Rally!

Today was pink and gray day at EEEC! Only 1 more color day left, I think we can make it!
I get this face a lot.
Julia's friend Lucy has been having a rough time adjusting to Kindergarten so Julia rode with her this morning. Heather said Lucy still cried, but it was better than it has been!
Ms. Parker posted some pictures of Julia's class from pink  & gray day. Apparently they were really excited about it!
Both girls had dance this afternoon and then we ran home to change clothes and head downtown for the city wide pep rally.
The look Charlotte is giving Julia in this picture cracks me up! Typical!
We met up with lots of friends downtown. The girls had fun cheering & dancing with their friends!
Ellington didn't take her eyes off Mr. Wildcat!
McKenzie & Julia during the Alma Mater <3 br="">
two of my sweet girls from last year
Sweet Caroline! She was about Charlotte's age our senior year in high school & now she's a senior!
I photobombed Hollye & Meg. Hollye's so lucky to have such a cool cousin like me!
Jessica said this picture looked like they were planning their senior prank! These two girls are going to keep us on our toes!

Tomorrow is finally Friday and FINALLY the beginning of football season! Can't wait!

Black & White Day

It's black & white day!  Last night I was talking to Julia and told her that I didn't know what she was going to wear for black and white day. She asked me if she could just skip school since she didn't have anything black AND white, only a white shirt and black pants. The first thing she asked me when she woke up this morning was if she could skip school!
I love that Ms. Parker posts pictures of Julia and her classmates throughout the day. I love to see her little mind thinking and working!
Today's black and white snack was chocolate dipped marshmallows and juice in black and white zebra stripe cups. Julia was really excited about today's snack this afternoon!
When Julia got off the bus at school today she told me that tomorrow was the last day of school. I tried to figure out why she was saying that and explained to her that tomorrow is not the last day. She finally looked at me and said "well tomorrow is Z day so there's nothing else for us to talk about!" I told her there was still lots more to learn. She said "ugh! Does that mean we have to start over with a?" HAHA

Tonight was church night. It's the first night all year that I've made it! Charlotte had fun with her friends and Ms. Meredith! I love that she loves to go to church.
Tomorrow the girls both have dance and then we're going to the community wide pep rally downtown. Julia has been counting down to the pep rally all week! We can't wait for some wildcat football!
