The Easter Bunny!

We took the girls to see the Easter Bunny this afternoon. I was a little worried about how Julia would do because it took us forever in line and then when we got to the front of the line it took them forever to finish with the person in fronts order and actually take our picture. I was afraid Julia would be over it by the time they got to her picture but she did pretty good. Charlotte gave us her million dollar grin like she always does!

When we got done with the Easter Bunny we ran into Grandi, Shannon & Sarah. The big girls got to ride the train, but they were too fast to get a picture of!

 

After I put Charlotte down tonight I got in the bath. Julia came in and gave me her Bucky bath toy. Then she whispered "Have fun Mama. I love you. Sweet dream." Sweet girl was taking care of me! 

Fun with Friends

I got up early this morning and headed to Birmingham for my mentoring session with Stephanie Fisher. I learned so much and had fun doing so, now I can't wait to practice what I learned!

When I got back Troy, Carrie, and Betsy stopped by for a few minutes to let the girls play. That turned into dinner at Rodeo's. That's always fun with three little ones. :)

Spring Break!

We started our official Spring Break off by being lazy. Our day was so uneventful that I didn't take the first picture. The girls and I did a Wal-Mart run this morning, napped this afternoon (or they did while I cleaned), went to dinner at Annies, and then went out to "Uncle Eddie's" studio to drop some stuff off for Jessica's shower on Saturday and talk to him about some house stuff.

Today was a relaxing start to Spring Break, but tomorrow I'm off to Birmingham for a photography mentoring session bright and early. Hopefully the rest of the week will involve some fun activities with my girls!

One More Day!

Julia had her Easter party and egg hunt at school today. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go, but she has told me all about hunting Easter eggs.

When finally picked up yesterday's paper today and brought it inside. Julia opened the paper, grabbed the sports and said "I gotta read this before Daddy gets home." Ha! And by the way, Michael rarely reads the paper at home so I have no idea where she got that from.

Charlotte has a major runny nose right now. I hope it's just from allergies, but either way it's made her grumpy this afternoon. Michael and I say that when she's happy she's very, very happy but when she's mad she's very, very mad. I hope my happy girl comes back soon! We put her to bed early and she immediately went to sleep. Here's hoping for a good nights sleep for everyone tonight! I only have to make it to 3:00 tomorrow and then Spring Break will be here!

Another Monday

Well, today was another Monday. As usual it was difficult to get out of bed this morning. Michael snapped this picture when he got up this morning. Both girls ended up in our bed this morning by about 5:00 which meant I became the middle of a sandwich!

 

I couldn't resist this one even though it was blurry. When I got out of bed Julia reached over and grabbed Charlotte's hand.

Mama sent me these pictures today. They had "chicken things" for lunch today and it looks like Julia and Natalie enjoyed them!

This sweet girl has been doing great going down in her own bed. She lays down happy and is asleep within just a few minutes. Such a welcome change from the last 2 months!

Busy Saturday!

I woke up about 3:00 this morning and tossed and turned until about 4:30. About the time I fell back asleep Charlotte woke up ready to play so I gave in and got up with her. We sat in the recliner in the den and watched TV and dozed off. I was sitting there holding Charlotte and thinking about my newborn session I had this morning. It made me think about how fast Charlotte is growing and I decided that instead of being aggravated that I didn't get to sleep in that I was going to enjoy our one on one time, even if it was at 5:00 on a Saturday morning!

 

 

 

I had a newborn session in Dothan this morning and got back just in time for Michael to throw the girls in my car while I changed clothes and head to Gale's birthday party. She had an Easter birthday party and Julia loved the egg hunt.

 

When we left Gale's party we went straight to Aunt Robin and Uncle Tom's for a crawfish boil. I can't believe it's already time for crawfish boils again! Julia and Natalie weren't fans of the crawfish, but they rode their tricycles and played hard! They should sleep good tonight!

Friday in Florida

Michael and I woke up this morning and realized Julia wasn't in the bedroom. She already made herself at home and wandered downstairs. Nan & I went to yoga at the clubhouse this morning, but not before the girls opened their Christmas presents! Julia was thrilled to get a new piggy bank!

This afternoon we went to lunch at Outback before doing a little shopping. Nan, Michael, the girls and I did some window shopping at the mall and then stopped by a couple of fish stores before heading home.

 

We had dinner at home tonight and now everyone else is downstairs watching Skyfall while I try to get the girls to sleep. I have a feeling I'm going to be asleep before they are though!

Road Trip!

We left about 4:30 this afternoon heading to Stuart to see Nan, Big, & Grandma. The girls stayed awake for about three hours and have been asleep ever since so it has been a fairly easy car ride. Only about two and a half more hours until we're there!
