Silly Girls!

Tonight was Honor's Night for CJHS. I didn't get home until after 8:00. I  think these girls were as delirious as I was! Only 3 more work days!

Country Girls

We went over to Scott and Jessica's today to grill out and let the girls play. The girls had a blast splashing in the baby pool, eating popsicles, petting the goats, seeing the cows, and playing with Layal!

Airplanes & Singing

I took my students on a field trip to the Enterprise Airport today. I got to go up in an airplane while we were there. My kids thought it was really cool!
Tonight we had our children's choir program at church. In true Charlotte fashion, she had to accessorize even though she wasn't even in the program!
Our choir did so good. They sang 2 songs and I was so proud of them!
After the choir program they presented us all with a picture to hang in the 4 year old choir room. They were purchased with donations made to the church in honor of Aunt Joanna. I can't wait to see them hanging in our choir room!

Let It Go

Charlotte's teacher posted these pictures on Facebook today. I love seeing pictures of her having fun at school. She's going to miss going to see all her friends so much when school gets out next week!
Charlotte found this little Barbie microphone tonight and was singing into it. Let It Go is one of her favorites that she sings on repeat, and of course Julia is creeping into the background on her horse!

Tonight we're being lazy and laying on the couch and watching Operation Dumbo Drop.
Tomorrow Julia and I both have field trips and we have our choir program at church. It's going to be a long day!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! That was the first thing out of Julia's mouth as soon as she woke up and Charlotte was right behind her with it. We got up this morning and made it to church in time for Sunday School and service which is a rare event lately, but this morning we even had time for some pictures before we left. Michael & the girls brought me Bo Jangles for breakfast and gave me my presents, a Fitbit & memory cards to take more pictures of the girls!
After church we went to lunch at Torerro's with the family. The food was good, but it took us almost two hours to eat!
This afternoon we enjoyed some popsicle's outside in the gorgeous weather. I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of the girls day.
Michael cooked a London Broil for dinner tonight, it was so good! When Julia was saying the blessing she thanked God for all the mother's on the Earth and she hoped they had the best Mother's Day ever. She kept asking me all day if this was the best Mother's Day ever. Charlotte kept saying "I don't wub you, Mama. Just kidding! I do wub you! Nanny nanny boo boo!" And that my friends, is each of their personalities to a T!

And just for fun, here are 6 years worth of Mother's Day pictures!

Baby Powder

Michael was gone tonight and Julia and I were in the living room. I noticed that Charlotte was suspiciously quiet. I walked in her room to this. You can tell by the look on her face that she was really sorry.  What you can't see in this picture is that she also dumped it all in her bed and on all her stuffed animals and baby dolls. It was also all down the hallway into the living room. Never a dull moment around here!

Happy Birthday, Julia!

We woke up at the beach this morning! We started Julia's birthday celebration off with chocolate donuts and singing happy birthday!
We had to sing to Charlotte too. :)
The girls were a dolphin and a fish for Halloween and I've been wanting to get them on the beach to do some pictures in their costumes. This was the first time we've been to the beach since then so we took advantage today. Neither one of them were super cooperative and because of the time of day the lighting wasn't the best, but we made do!
We went back to the house and changed into our swimsuits and played on the beach. The girls played so well together and stayed right in front of us. It was almost relaxing!
We spent about an hour on the beach before it got too hot to stand. We went back to the beach house to shower and change. I had to snap a few pictures of the birthday girl in her birthday shirt even though she wasn't super cooperative!
We headed to Miracle Strip to eat lunch and ride some rides. I think they rode every ride multiple times. The girls had a blast!
Charlotte loved the Tilt-a-Whirl
Charlotte waved to Sissy & Daddy on the Sea Dragon.
She was not very happy that she wasn't tall enough to ride!
We headed home late this afternoon so we could get ready for Julia's party tomorrow! She chose Chick-Fil-A for dinner when we got home. I'm sure no one is surprised!
I hope you had the best 5th birthday ever, Julia! Get ready to party with all your friends tomorrow!
