Water Hose Fun!

Michael had physical therapy this morning, so he fed Julia breakfast and helped me dress her before we left the house since he was leaving the house a little later. She usually goes to Nana and Pop's in her PJ's and they feed her breakfast and dress her. I grabbed a few pictures of Julia before we left this morning. She's starting her second week of "school" today!

I snapped this picture in the car on the way to Nana and Pop's this morning. When I said "Julia, smile!" she said "CHEESE!" and this was the face I got! What a sweet face it is!

This evening Julia kept walking to the front door and trying to open it so we went outside for a little while. I turned the water hose on low and let her play in it. It wasn't long before she was soaking herself and drinking out of the hose!

After we came inside Julia put her stacking rings on her arms like bracelets, then proceeded to spin in a circle to see if you could sling them off. That led to her getting dizzy and the giggles. Michael and I got a pretty good laugh out of it too!

Cruising the Driveway

First of all, Julia slept in her own bed from 8:30-6:30 and didn't cry when we put her down! Granted, she fell asleep in the chair with Michael, but she woke up when I put her in her bed and she just looked around, wimpered a second and settled into sleep. HUGE progress!



This afternoon Michael and Julia cruised the driveway. She still loves her car, but hasn't quite figured out how to walk it herself so she is still content for someone to push her. She loves to play with her outside toys and be outside, maybe when it's not 103 at 6:00 at night we can spend a little more time outside!

Sunday Sundaes!

Julia had her first event as Baby Miss Twilight today! She attended a Sunday Sundaes party in Dothan to meet the other queens. We got our list of fundraisers and events for the Leukemia Society for this year, we're going to be busy!

Water Fun!

This morning we went to the BP for breakfast and to look at a rocking chair Aunt Donna wants to get Julia for Christmas. Julia saw this seat and said "football" and climbed up! I think she needs it to watch the games this fall!

When we got done looking at rocking chairs we went to Caroll's nursery to look for plants for our window boxes. The lady was so helpful and we ended up with the plants below.

1 week til Auburn football kicks off!

Tonight Brock, Amy and Gale came over for dinner. The girls had fun playing in the pool and water table. 

When the Mathews left Julia went down with only about 5 minutes of crying! I hope it just wasn't because she was tired, I hope we're improving!
