Happy Valentine's Day!

We started this morning off with one of my favorite things - Chick Fil A chicken biscuits! And the heart shape was just an added bonus! Since mom kept the girls last night we just went through the drive thru and took some to her and the girls.
I didn't hardly see the girls yesterday because of all the craziness so they showed me all their Valentine's Day crafts and treats today. Julia loves her parents because we take her to horse riding lessons.  That girl can relate anything and everything to horses!
Michael me with a new watch for Valentine's Day. We don't usually do Valentine's Day presents so this was a total surprise. The girls also got me a gift certificate for some new Alex & Ani bracelets.
After we picked the girls up we went to Dothan to run some errands and do some shopping. We started at Gander Mountain. They had a table set up with Valentine crafts that kept the girls busy the whole time Michael was shopping. It was great!
When we got home from Dothan Julia decided she wanted to give us a concert. I started off trying to get her to sing me her Valentine song from yesterday, but it turned into a full blown concert!
We also ventured to Toys R Us where the girls picked out an Easy Bake Oven. We hadn't gotten them a Valentine's Day present and they have both been asking for one since Christmas so we figured this was as good a time as any to get one. Tonight we made chocolate chip cookies in it. I now know why my mom never wanted to bake anything with mine! I think in the amount of time it took to make these 6 micro mini chocolate chip cookies we could have made a whole batch in the real oven. The important thing though is that the girls had fun!
Look at how tiny that tray is!
Tonight we had Nana & Pop and my mom over for dinner. Michael cooked his infamous wings and we made s'mores by the fire pit.
My valentine
Apparently Charlotte has been paying attention to Mrs. Karen at riding lessons because she started riding her horse, stopped, put Julia's helmet on, and came back to riding!
Julia's first attempt at S'mores
Charlotte's was so good it made her dance!
I told Michael I had never imagined spending Valentine's Day like this, but it was perfect!

Randoms

I saw this t-shirt on Zulily a few weeks ago and had to order it for Michael. It says "Engineer by Day, World's Best Day by Night". The girls were so excited to give it to him.
We got the February Newsletter from Small Steps today. Charlotte is the student of the month for her class!
