Swimming Lessons - Day 1

The girls started swimming lessons today. One was excited, one wasn't. I bet you can't guess which is which. I'll give you a hint. The one that wasn't excited woke up at 4:30 today and was ready for a nap by swimming lessons at 10:00!

The good news is they were both all smiles after swimming lessons!

VBS:Day 5

We had a long day at VBS! We served cotton candy to over 300 kids! It was a long morning!

Pop walked the halls with Charlotte this morning!

Julia loved her cotton candy!

 

Julia had swimming lessons again today. She did ok, but seemed to do a lot of crying/whining. We're going to skip tomorrow and reschedule for one day next week. I hope she'll do better once she's well rested.

Do you see what I mean? Hopefully next week will be better!

The Start of a Busy Week!

This little bright eyed beauty was up and ready to start the day at 6:45 this morning. That's actually a "late" morning compared to her normal wake up time of 5:45.

Today was a BUSY day! The girls and I got up, ate breakfast, got dressed and were at church for day 2 of Bible School at 8:30. It was after 12:30 when we left Bible School! We met Tracy and Hollye at Rodeo's for lunch and then headed home to try to get a nap in before Julia's first swimming lesson!

I promise she was really excited about swimming lessons!

 

 After swimming lessons we went to the church to start making some sno cones in preparation for tomorrow's VBS snacks. Julia got to eat a sno cone while we were working. She thought she was pretty special!

When we were done at church Michael picked up some pizza and met us at Nana and Pop's. Julia and Nana made dirt cake for dessert. Julia kept saying, "Mommy, we're eating dirt and worms"!

This little love has been so happy today. She was asleep when we got home from lunch around 1:30 and I had to wake her up at 4:00 to go get my allergy shot and take Julia to swim lessons. Caddy's kennel has become one of her favorite places to hang out. I know it won't be long before she's walking all over the place!

Today was a long day and I am more than ready for bed but it looks like Charlotte is still going strong! Hopefully we'll both get some rest tonight because we get to do it all over again tomorrow!
