Friday!

Happy Friday! Julia was sleeping so good this morning! She was sprawled out, snoozing away! 

We went over to Nana and Pop's this afternoon. Julia thought Pop was a horse! How many of you know an 80 year old who will give his 40 pound great granddaughter pony rides?

Tonight we met the Robley's for dinner at Cutt's and then they came over to our house to let the kids play while we caught up. Cooper and Julia play so well together and I know Ellington and Charlotte will too. It makes our evenings more enjoyable, the adults can actually talk while the kids play!

Pajama Day!

Today was pajama day at Small Steps to celebrate Dr. Suess's birthday. The celebration was complete with green pancakes!

While Julia was at school Charlotte got into a little mischief. I got out of the shower and found her eating a sucker! This is about the same age that Julia was when we had to start locking the pantry! It looks like we're going to have to do the same for Charlotte! 

It was cold today so I picked out some warm pj's for Julia to wear to school, but she was having none of it! She wanted to wear her Sofia nightgown so we put leggings underneath it and jacket on top and went with it!

She was so proud of her Cat in the Hat hat that she painted. 

Tonight we went to Rodeo's to celebrate Garrett's birthday a few days early. Charlotte was loving the cake. She kept trying to eat off of everyone's plate and her own! 

 Rodeo is Julia's favorite restaurant. She asks to go at least once a week. Part of the reason is Oscar. He's always our waiter and so sweet to Julia (and Charlotte). His daughter is also in Julia's gymnastics class so Julia gets a kick out of seeing him at gymnastics.

Lake Life

Nana and Pop are getting ready to sell the lake house so today Mom, Julia, Charlotte and I went down to help them finish cleaning it out. Julia loved the lake. We walked out on the dock with the wind blowing and she kept saying "We're sailing!" 

Charlotte didn't think it was too shabby either. 

Rock Stars

The girls had a little rock concert after dance tonight. Julia played the guitar and Charlotte danced! 

Super Bowl Sunday!

This afternoon I had Valentine mini sessions. Michael helped me set up and the girls were my test subjects. I hope they're just as cooperative when I get them out there later this week! 

Tonight we watched the Super Bowl at church. This is the third or fourth year that we've gone. Since we're not huge NFL fans it works out great, we can watch the game in the background and socialize with our friends! 

Charlotte was there for the cookies! 

Julia was drawing on the whiteboard in one of the Sunday School rooms. She drew the person next to her head and said "Mama! Look! I drew Tracy!"  

I took this picture tonight after bath time. I think it's about time for Julia's first hair cut. :(
