Mt. Pleasant VBS

The girls had their last night of VBS at Mt. Pleasant tonight and got to share some of the songs they learned this week with us.  Charlotte was SO excited about singing "on stage". They had a great week and were ready to go every night!

Rotten cousins!

Charlotte was excited about showing me all the decorations in her room. Mrs. Kay was a fun teacher!

They had a boys V girls competition to see who could bring in the most offering money for the Children's Home. The girls won which meant that Brother Phil got water balloons thrown at him, but Aunt Robin let them throw a couple at her too so the boys wouldn't whine. She wouldn't let the parents throw any though...

VBS Day 4 - Crazy Sock Day

Today was Crazy Sock Day at VBS. Charlotte chose a pair of monster toe socks and Julia chose horse socks!

I love working in snacks because I get to see all the classes, including my girls!

 Tonight was family night at VBS which included hot dogs and the kids singing some of their VBS songs from this week.

The girls have had a fun week of VBS, but I'm ready to not have to get out of the house early in the morning. I've said that I want to get through VBS and then Rosemary can come whenever she's ready, so one more day and Baby Watch is in full swing!

Swimming Lessons - Day 1

The girls started swimming lessons today. One was excited, one wasn't. I bet you can't guess which is which. I'll give you a hint. The one that wasn't excited woke up at 4:30 today and was ready for a nap by swimming lessons at 10:00!

The good news is they were both all smiles after swimming lessons!

Pool Fun

We went over to Aunt Robin and Uncle Tom's condo today and took advantage of their pool. These kiddos swam ALL afternoon and pouted when we made them get out. It's been a fun weekend to kick off summer!

The Beginning of the End

Today was the girls last day of choir and mission friends until August. They have their choir program next Wednesday. Julia didn't feel great today but was better in time for church tonight. I can't believe how grown they're getting!

Aunt Cindy sent us a sweet little package today. I got a pretty three frame picture frame for my three girls and the girls got this cute book that we have already read three times! I'm not sure who gets more excited about surprise mail, me or the girls!

One Happy Girl!

Julia had her last practice for Little Miss Coffee County today. One of these girls will be crowned the new Little Miss Coffee County next Saturday afternoon!

 

After pageant practice we gave Julia her big gift. She has been wishing for some golf clubs and based on her reaction I think she was excited about her gift! 

 I still can't believe this girl is gonna be 7 on Tuesday!!

Getting Ready for Baby!

We kicked off Spring Break with a fun day in Dothan. We did some shopping for Baby Sister, ordered her car seat, and the girls both picked out a present for her. She'll be here before we know it!
