Julia's iPad

There is an app on the iPad that plays a baby's laugh and pops up bright numbers, letters and shapes when you touch the screen. Julia LOVES it. She played with it forever tonight. What a different world she will grow up in! I wonder what her children will have that we haven't even imagined yet!

Tonight, while I was cleaning out the laundry room, I heard some splashing followed by sweet baby laughter. I walked out of the laundry room to find Julia playing in Nelli's water bowl. Life is never dull with Julia around, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hail!

Michael got up early this morning for an unsucessful turkey hunting trip. Julia tried to escape, but soon realized that even though she had the car keys she couldn't reach the gas pedal! Instead she found entertainment in the dog bowls!

This afternoon we had a pretty nasty thunderstorm. Michael moved my car out of the carport in hopes of the rain washing the pollen off. Not long after he moved it outside we heard hail hitting the windows! Luckily neither of our cars got any damage, but it did get nasty for a while! Today was a perfect day for an afternoon nap!

Every time Julia hears my phone ring she goes crazy! She definitely has orange & blue running through her veins! :)

Happy Spring!

I had to take advantage of the gorgeous day and take some picutres of Julia today. We took these against our neighbors brick house.

This bracelet was a gift from GranDi and the ring was MomAnnette's that I also wore when I was a baby.

Mrs. Sally Peden kept Julia's class in the nursery today. She said she read them a book called "Touchdown, Ernie" and everytime she said "touchdown" Julia put her arms in the air!

Side Note: Julia slept from 9:30-7:30 without getting in our bed and without us getting up with her during the night! That is a huge accomplishment after the past few weeks of "rough" nights. I hope it continues!

Pool Time!

Today was a beautiful 84 degree day in South Alabama! We started off the day with a walk at the park. This afternoon Michael went to Tylers to "do man stuff" (aka fish and shoot guns) with Tyler and Russ. Julia and I had Harrison and Natalie over to play in her pools. It was so nice to be outside and enjoy the beautiful weather!

Today was a teacher work day so I got home a little earlier than ususal. We spent the afternoon inside where it was cool, instead of outside where it was 84 degrees! As you can tell from the pictures below, Julia wanted to go outside though! We ended the day with dinner with the Turman's at Frogz. It won't be much longer and it will be warm enough to enjoy our dinner outside!
