What a difference a year makes!
I took Julia over to the beach for this first time this year today and I'm thrilled to say she LOVED it! She loved playing in the sand and splashing in the waves! I hope we get to spend lots of time on the beach this summer!
Tonight we headed over to Santa Rosa Beach for Jessica & Scott's wedding. Everything was beautiful, especially the bride! Julia really liked Jessica's niece Mary Margaret. We had a play date when Julia was about a month and a half old, but I think we might have to have another one next time Mary Margaret is town!
Some "Julia-related" funnies from the wedding tonight:
1. Hollis handed the preacher her beer so that she could hold Julia! Julia was "escaping" past Hollis and she handed him her beer as he walked by so she could get her. We all got a good laugh out of that!
2. Jackie and Julia smelled the flowers, but Julia pointed out which flowers she wanted to smell and would only smell the ones she wanted to!
3. Julia cried for Maribeth across the deck and yelled "Mama" at her. I think it's the hair!
