War Eagle!

Michael and I bravely (or crazily) took the girls to Auburn today. They've both been to Auburn games, but not together. We've always taken them one at a time. We got up early this morning and hit the road for Auburn. The girls had a blast, but I don't know that Michael and I will attempt that again for a few years!

We got to Auburn and tried to find a close parking spot but didn't have much luck. We decided to park at a lot that was technically in walking distance but it was a pretty good hike. It was right beside a Tiger Transit stop though. I knew they ran on game day, but we had never used them so we didn't know how reliable or how frequently they ran. When we got out of the car there wasn't a bus there so we decided to start walking, but we didn't get halfway down the block before the bus came by so we decided to hop on. When we were ready to leave and go back to the car there was a bus waiting on us and we hoped right now. I was afraid we might have to wait a while since there was only one other person on the bus, but as soon as we got on they left and took us back to the car. Tiger Transit is definitely the way to go on game day!

Part of the pregame included 4 paratroopers jumping into the stadium. The girls thought it was pretty neat! We also saw the eagle fly, one of our favorite traditions, and Auburn's newest game day tradition, the game ball being delivered to Aubie by a drone!

We made it about halfway through the third quarter before the girls had had enough.  We decided to go downtown and get something to eat and by the time we were done eating the game would be over and we could hopefully roll Toomer's Corner.
The girls first ride on the Tiger Transit!

After lunch at Big Blue Bagel the girls were ready for their first Toomer's Corner experience. They LOVED it! We're definitely raising some Auburn loving girls!
Ready for their first roll!
Julia's first roll!
Charlotte's first roll!
Aubie came out while we were at Toomer's Corner. Charlotte was brave at first, but the closer he got the less brave she was!
And this is what Charlotte looked like on the car ride home. It was a long day on the plains for her!

We had a great day, but I think Michael and I feel about like Charlotte looks in the picture! I can't wait for many more Auburn memories with out girls!
