Wednesday Night Church

Michael took Julia to church tonight while I stayed home and caught up on some things. I felt like such a slacker for not going, but I got a lot done here while they were both gone. I did snap these pictures of her before they left for church though.

After I took these pictures and put Julia in the car I told said "Bye! I love you!" and it happened! She said "Love you Mama!" Ok, maybe it was more like "Lo Ew Mama", but still I knew what she meant! Oh my precious girl, I love you too!

Today was Grandparents Day at Small Steps. Julia was lucky enough to have both her MomAnnette, GranDi and Nana come today. I wasn't able to go, but they all said it that it was very nice and they had a good time.

When I got home from school Mr. Bill and Julia were walking laps in his driveway so we stood outside and talked for a little while. Julia just couldn't resist playing in the dirt!

"But I wasn't done playing in the dirt!"
Sweet Baby!

This evening Mama watched Julia at our house for a few minutes so Michael and I could go meet the newest addition to the Thornton Family, Miss Isla Cate. Such a sweet little angel. I forgot how tiny new babies are and all the sweet sounds they make! I asked Sabrina to remind me how much they get up during the night and how often they eat! Congratulations Thornton Family!

Happy Grandparent's Day!

Today has been a semi-lazy day around here. Julia's molars are still bothering her and she has been unsatisfiable this afternoon. I wouldn't really say she's fussy, but she just seems like she can't really relief and get comfortable. We did get out and take the grandparents their Grandparents Day cards though. Happy Grandparent's Day to all of the grandparents!

17 in a Row!

We watched the game today at Uncle Tom's barn. Between the game, Toby, the gator and the swimming pool Julia was BUSY (as usual)!
Stealing some ice from Tracy
Brody and Julia walking back from Aunt Donna and Uncle Kenny's house
Loving the tiger
Julia kept trying to get in the pool with her clothes on. After the game I finally gave in and let her play in the pool. I think I should have let her get in sooner! It kept her corralled and happy instead of having to chase her everywhere!
Splashing around in the pool
Julia kept trying to get on Uncle Tom's gator so he let us ride with him to put the boats back in the barn. She laughed when we went "fast" and said "Weeeee!".
Going for a ride on the Gator!

And of course, we had to have a photo shoot in our game day outfit. We got her boa in the Halloween section at Hobby Lobby yesterday. She wore it the entire time until she spilt Uncle Kenny's drink on it. She's such a diva!
Anytime we're in the front yard she has to go over to our fence and check on our neighbors dogs.

Auburn squeaked out another victory, this weekend 41-34 over Mississippi State, to bring us to a 17-game-winning-streak. If we keep having close games like this I'm going to have to get on blood pressure medicine before the season's over!

An Evening at the Mall!

Michael, Julia and I headed to Dothan this afternoon. I wanted to get some more fall filler for our jars in the living room at Hobby Lobby before they were sold out. They had 3 boxes left and I needed 2! We headed to the mall for a little while to walk around and get dinner.

Everyone commented on how good Julia was. She just hung out in her stroller quietly all evening, which is pretty unusual at this stage. She is usually talking away and carrying on. I think her molars are making her feel pretty puny. They have broken through the skin, but are not fully in. I hope they come in soon and Julia back to her normal self!

A New Table for Julia

Michael bought this picnic table for Julia from a guy he works with. Since he had physical therapy this afternoon he was already home when we got there. As soon as I got Julia out of the car she went over to it like she knew it was hers!
Julia ended the night with a little Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She has become obsessed with Mickey and Minnie lately. She says "Mickey" and "Minnie" all the time and carries her Minnie doll everywhere. When we  were walking down the main aisle by the cards in Wal-Mart Sunday she spotted a Mickey balloon above the aisles and starting saying "Mickey Mickey" and pointing at it.
She is getting her molars in so she has been fussier than usual lately. Even with the teething she went to bed with only about 15 seconds of fussing tonight! Success! :)
