New Boots!

Julia woke up this mornig and went straight to her crown on the kitchen table. It usually stays on a shelf in her room, but she has never really had much interest in it. I thought it was appropriate that she wanted it this morning given that her PJ's said "Her royal sleepy head". She put it on and walked around the house with it but wouldn't let me get a picture of her in it.
We wanted to have a "Family Fun Day" today, but since our plan was to go to the pumpkin patch and it was rainy/overcast and super windy that got scratched. I've wanted to get Julia a pair of cowboy boots for a while and I  needed a new pair so we set out to find some.

I knew they had cowboy boots for Julia and Sikes & Kohn but we were hoping to avoid having to drive that far so we started off at The Barn in Dothan. They had a huge selection of boots, even for Julia, but they were all pink or at least partially pink or had light up flowers or some other accessory on them, and all the boots for me were more than I was willing to pay. We left The Barn and headed to the mall where we came up empty handed again and decided to go to Sikes & Kohn. It was a lot of driving, but Julia and I both have new boots to show for it!

Julia spent the night with MomAnnette and Uncle Blake tonight so Michael and I could have a date night. She likes to take my make up brush and pretend that she's putting on make up when I'm getting dressed. I had to track down my make up brushes tonight so I could finish getting ready!
Snack time in the bathroom!
Yes, she is using the toliet as her table!
Silly girl!

Michael and I enjoyed a sushi and a romantic date night at Wal-Mart! Where else do you go in Enterprise?! We rented Something Borrowed when we left Wal-Mart, I read the book in college but it's been so long I couldn't remember how it ended! The house has been quiet tonight, but I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow!

Cheesecake Thief

We had Mom and Blake over for dinner tonight. Michael fixed Italian sausage subs with cheesecake for dessert. I got up to get some more tea and a little climber found her way into my seat and helped herself to my cheesecake! If she wasn't so cute I wouldn't have let her get away with it!
What? You mean you weren't done?
Tomrrow is the end of the 9 weeks and Mom and I are taking the day "off" to get ready for the homecoming dance. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be even more tiring than today was!

Fake Sneeze=HILARIOUS!

Nana sent me this picture today of Julia watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in her MomAnnette's Mickey Mouse ears. She was pretty proud of them when she showed them to me this afternoon too. :)
Michael and I took Julia to the old train depot downtown to take some pictures tonight before we went to Mom's house for dinner since we didn't get to take any there yesterday. She quickly discovered that if she squealed loudly it echoed. Of course, that was hilarious!

I was trying to get her attention and faked a sneeze. She thought it was THE funniest thing EVER. I have not seen her tickle box like that in a long time. She would fake sneeze and then die laughing. She did this for probably 5 minutes and it was 5 minutes of pure heaven hearing that precious little laugh!

Play Date & Game Day

Julia woke up this morning ready to talk!
She needed a bath this morning so Michael took her PJ's and diaper off and told her to come find me. Instead she went straight back to her chair and Mickey Mouse!
And right back to Mickey after her bath!

Tucker and Amber came over this morning to play for a few hours. They had a ball playing with Julia's toys. Tucker got on her red ride-on toy and said it was the "woo woo" (fire truck). I don't think he got off of it all morning!

Tucker loving on Julia                                  Climbing the walls
Tucker saying "Julia that bite" about the electrical socket she was trying to open

This afernoon we went over to the barn to watch the Auburn V South Carolina game. Auburn pulled out anther victory!

Hollye & Julia
Uncle Kenny brought Julia a Mickey Mouse cookie!

We brought her little chair and coloring books, crayons and stickers in hopes of keeping her semi-entertained and corralled. It worked out fairly well, but Hollye did a lot of chasing and walking for us too!
Brody did some walking & chasing too!
And as usual, she mooched food and drink off of everyone and anyone who would pay attention and especially those who weren't paying attention!
When the game was over and Aunt Robin got the gator to start putting everything back where it belonged Julia got so excited! She just knew she was going to get a ride, but not tonight. Next time though, Julia!
