Bubble Fun

Katelyn and Kollier came over this afternoon so I could take some pictures in his caterpillar outfit that someone gave him this weekend. Julia was very interested in the baby, I'm hoping that's a good sign for things to come! 

As soon as Katelyn picked Collier up out of the basket Julia crawled right in to have her picture taken! 

When they left we went outside for some bubble fun. Blowing bubbles is one of Julia's favorite things to do and I promised her we would go outside since it was so pretty this afternoon.

I think she accidentally got a taste of the bubbles, it doesn't look like she liked them! 

Tonight, when we were leaving Grandi and Granddad's house Julia was pointing to the moon and the stars like usual. Granddad told her to get the moon and she started reaching for it with both hands and pulling it to her. She pulled like she was struggling to pull it to her, complete with facial expressions and sound effects. It was hilarious, I don't know where she gets some of this stuff, I guess she really is watching our every move! 

I hope today's pretty days stay around and Mother Nature is not playing a cruel trick on us. We're ready for Spring at our house! 

My Pretty Princess

This is how we typically start our morning. Julia gets up and comes into our bed (sometimes at 2:00, and sometimes at 6:30!) and watches Disney Junior while Michael and I get ready for the day. Her favorite is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, by far, but she likes all of them. Disney Junior switches out their schedule every couple months so that different shows are on at the same time, right now Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Chuggington are on before we leave the house. 

Stephanie brought Julia a present to school today. She and Josh went to Disney on their honeymoon in December and she told me that she was going to buy Julia a Cinderella dress for our upcoming trip to Disney. When I ask Julia if she is ready to go home in the afternoons her afternoon is almost always "no". When I got to Nana & Pop's this afternoon I told her I had a present for her in the car. When she heard that she grabbed her sippy, gave Nana & Pop hugs and headed to the door! 

When we got home she was ready to open her present. She was thrilled to find not only a Cinderella dress, but a Snow White dress also! Thank you Stephanie, you are too sweet!

Disney Prep

This is how Michael found Julia and I when he got home from visiting. We were snuggled up in bed watching Disney World videos on YouTube to prepare for our trip. Only 3 more weeks and we'll be heading to the happiest place on Earth! 

Watching Daddy

Michael has been working on replanting our flower beds. Today he was working on the one in front of our bedroom window so Julia thought that was the perfect place to hang out. She talked to him and waved at him the whole time! 

Baby Stella

Amber and I hosted a shower for Megan and Baby Stella today. She got tons of cute stuff, but this is the only picture I took! At least we got one of the three of us. 

After the shower Michael, Julia and I went to dinner at Rodeo's. Julia loves her cheese dip! I told Michael we were going to have to start ordering one for her and one for us! 

Minnie Mouse!

I ordered this little dress for Julia a couple weeks ago and had been debating saving it for our Disney trip and her birthday party, but decided to let her wear it tonight. When I got her dressed she kept pulling it down and looking at Minnie Mouse. Then she looked up at me with a big grin and said "Mommy, I cute!" Yes, Julia. Yes you are!  

 

 

Read Across America!

This week is Read Across America week in celebration of Dr. Suess's birthday on Friday. Since Julia doesn't have school on Fridays they wore their pajama's to school today and took their favorite Dr. Suess book. Of course there was no question which book Julia would take - Hop on Pop!
