Pretty Girls

Today has been a lazy day for Julia! She fell asleep on our way home from church and slept untli almost 5:00! When we pulled into the parking lot at Rodeo's to eat after church Julia said "Yay! Eat!" I think that might be a sign we go there too much!  While she was asleep this afternoon I did a photo shoot with Miss Sarah.
Sarah wanted her picture taken with her mommy!
When I got home Julia had just woken up from her nap so we headed outside to get a little fresh air and snap some pictures of Julia. She was in a great mood! She's kind of hit or miss on her naptime wake ups, sometimes she's great and sometimes she's ill as a hornet!
Cheese!
Playing peek-a-boo "Here I am!"
Calling somebody or something!

When we got back inside Julia wanted a snack out of the pantry. Michael told her to get something, but when she got the tube of frosting he told her she had to ask Mommy and I said "Why not?". Of course she only got a few squirts but she sure did like it!

The best part about this Sunday was that we don't have to go work tomorrow! I'm looking foward to a fun and lazy day with Michael and Julia!

Saturday Fun

Julia woke up this morning and spotted a Mickey Mouse cookie on the counter. I think you can tell she enjoyed it!
After her pre-breakfast snack we all set out in search of breakfast. We decided to go through the drive-thru at Hardee's and bring it home to eat. Julia loved her cheese biscuit, or maybe she just loved the cheese!
After breakfast we got dressed to have lunch at the Bowden's with Libby and Susan. When I'm getting dressed Julia likes to come into the bathroom and play with my make-up. I let her put on "blush" with my brush and she has her own chapstick that she puts on. This morning she was watching me put foundation on and she decided she would put the chapstick on her face.
Beautiful!

After we enjoyed some good food and fellowship with the Bowden family we decided to head to Dothan. We planned on taking Julia to see the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, but instead we lost track of time at the mall and missed the movie!

When we pulled into the mall parking lot Julia started saying "Horsey! Horsey!". Michael and I couldn't figure out what she saw that made her think of horses. I told Michael that maybe she was thinking about the carousel, but I really didn't think she would have that association since she's only ridden the carousel at the mall a handful of times and she's never ever ridden a horse on it. In fact, I don't know that there's even a horse on there.

As we were walking past the mall we walked past the little hallway to the food court she spotted the carousel and started saying "Horsey! Horsey!" again. Since we didn't make the movie we had to let her ride the carousel. We didn't have the right change for the token machine so we got a little snack  so we could get some change and sat by the carousel and watched it go round while we ate it. As the animals went around I asked what animal she wanted to ride and she said "monkey" without hesitation! You can tell by the grin on her face that that girl loves to ride the merry-go-round!
After we got back from Dothan we went to Nana and Pop's to eat Zaxby's. After we were done eating Julia realized she was the center of attention and really hammed it up. Nana gave her a little bear last year that plays "Jesus Loves Me". She has started singing along with it and sung it for them tonight. I hope she will let me record her singing it soon, but she's notorious for shutting down whenever I bring out the video camera!

Monster Girl!

We went to eat at Myori's tonight to kick off our weekend. It was cold outside so we had to bundle Julia up to keep her warm! I love this little hat, it's one of the few that she will actually keep on her head - at least for a little while!
Saying cheese!
If you tell Julia to close her eyes she will squeeze her eyes shut really tight!

When we were getting ready for bed tonight Julia went to her stuffed animal basket and got the bear that Nana and Pop gave her for Christmas. She drug it all over the house and finally climbed up in our bed with it and laid her head down on it like it was her pillow. She's such a sweet girl!

My Little Helper

This evening I had a load of laundry on the floor by the washing machine and took the clothes from the dryer to the couch to be folded. Julia saw me carrying them so she got her clothes off the floor in the laundry room and carried them to the couch also. I told her those clothes still needed to be washed and if she carried them back to the laundry room she could help me put them in the washing machine so she carried them back and helped me put them in! I can't believe how fast she is growing up, maybe I can teach her to like doing laundry! :)
She liked watching the water go around!

And this is my little paci addict! She found two paci's tonight and decided that she needed both of them! She's such a little ham!

Sweet Girl

This morning Julia looked for Mickey all over again and couldn't find him, so she settled for taking a Mickey Mouse coloring book with her to Nana and Pops.
Tonight I met Amber for dinner at McLin's. It was nice for just the two of us to be able to catch up. Michael sent me this picture, I guess Julia took my absence at the dinner table tonight as the opportunity to sit in my seat!
She has been so funny tonight. She kept grabbing my finger and pulling me along and saying "Come on, Mama! Come on!" or "Come play".

When I get Julia a hug I usually say "sweet girl" or something similar. Tonight she kept running up and hugging and patting my legs and saying "Sweet girl, Mama". She's the sweet girl!
This is why I always keep her hair pulled back!
Look at those pretty curls!
