Julia had a check up doctor's appointment with Dr. Whitaker this afternoon to check on her ears. I was shocked (and happy) to learn that after almost 2 months she no longer has an ear infection! Dr. Whitaker also looked at her red spots on her face and diagnosed her with eczema. I am hopeful that after she has her clogged tear duct fixed it will no longer be a problem. The only place it seems to be is around her left eye. Dr. Whitaker compared the dry skin there to the skin under your nose when you've had a runny nose. It just gets chapped from the constant liquid on it. He told me to just keep it moisturized good.
We gave Julia stage 3 baby food for the first time tonight. She had spaghetti for dinner. I swear she said "Yum!" :)
Then we gave her a taste of our garlic mashed potatoes. She didn't like them near as much as the spaghetti!
She has warmed back up to her swing, which I am extremely thankful for! She sat in it tonight and watched Fraggle Rock while we got a few things done around the house. It was nice to be able to change the laundry without having to constantly say "Do you have Julia?" or "Where's Julia?"!
