Beach Fun with Friends!

We woke up this morning to sunshine at the beach! Ray got up early and came back with Dunkin' Donuts. He even brought me a Mountain Dew!

 

When everyone was up and ready we headed over to the beach for a little while. This was Charlotte's first real beach trip. The only other time she'd been on the sand was for a quick photo shoot Memorial Day Weekend. Naturally, she loved eating the sand.

She had no interest in looking at the camera. She was too interested in the water!

Julia didn't want much to do with the water, but she had fun playing in the sand with Cooper.

This picture doesn't do it justice, but every inch of her was covered in sand. She looked like a little powdered donut.

After we cleaned up and grabbed some lunch at Montego Bay it was time to head back home.All of this rain has left lots of standing water. These pictures are from back beach road between our beach house and Pier Park. There's usually not any water there!

The ride home today could have been a little less eventful. We had too very tired girls who didn't want to nap. I ended up riding between them most of the way home. As soon as I got back there Charlotte grinned up at me like she got what she wanted!

We went straight from the beach to Granddad and GranDi's house for ribs. The girls had fun playing and the food was good, as usual. Now we're home and ready for bed. Tomorrow is the beginning of our first "normal" week in a while!
