Cabin Fever

After a solid week of rain everyone at our house had cabin fever. We decided to call up the Robley's and head to the beach. At least rain at the beach is better than rain at home!

 

Charlotte has been ready to move to a big girl car seat for a few weeks now but we just haven't been able to get over to Babies R Us and get one. I didn't want to put her in Julia's extra because I wanted her to have her own, but I gave in today. We put Julia's other seat in my car for Charlotte and she loved it. She looks like such a big girl!

It stopped raining about the time we got to the beach house. The boys went on a Wal-Mart run and the girls and kids hung out at the house. We visited a while and then headed out for a late dinner at Captain Andersons. We just knew we would have to wait, but we walked in at 8:00 and were immediately seated.

When we got back from dinner we went over to the beach for some crab hunting. Julia and Cooper had so much fun. They both got a couple crabs each. Julia picked up some sea weed and put it in her bucket with her crab. She said it was a bed for her crab.

When we got back to the beach house and got our jamies on Julia climbed up on the couch with Ray and Allison and said "take our picture". You can see Charlotte wanted on the couch with them too!

Now we're hoping that the rain holds off long enough to get some beach time in in the  morning!
