I had a doctors appointment in Dothan this afternoon so we went out for sushi when I got back since we missed supper at church. They have a big sailfish on the wall at Myori's and Julia spent a good 5 minutes pointing at it and saying "Fish!".
Someone was celebrating their birthday so they were beating on the drum. Julia did not like it! The waiter was standing at the entrance to the kitchen tapping on it while he was waiting for the other servers and Julia leaned in real close to me and started whining. She starting waving and it and saying "bye" in a scared little voice over and over again until he went into the other dining room with the birthday celebration!
Do you see the look of concern on her face? She did not like that drum!
And since we forgot any kind of toys or snacks tonight Julia got to watch Mickey Mouse at the table. Whatever works!
