It's supposed to be 39 degrees Wednesday night and even though I am SO ready for some cooler weather I know we won't get as much outside time so we took advantage of the 80 degree temperatures today.
We tried to let Julia drive her car by herself, but she still doesn't quite get it. She was good at going backwards, but not forwards!
Then we got her slide out. She loves to play on it! And of course she had to point and wave at every helicopter that flew over.
Next, we tried sidewalk chalk. She had fun drawing on the driveway, but got easily distracted. She didn't stay at one activity very long, until we got to the water table!
We weren't going to get the water table out because Julia always ends up soaked when she plays with it. She had other plans though, she drug it out of the carport by herself so Michael filled it up with water.
Calling Toodles
She kept dipping her finger in the water and sucking it off her finger like it was a yummy dip!
Giving Caddy some water
She tried to fill her pool up cup by cup. It might have worked if the cup didn't have a hole in the bottom!
When Michael let the water out of the water table Julia discovered the puddle it made and splashed it in. It's a good thing she was already soaked! :)
I'm certainly looking forward to the cooler weather, but I will miss afternoons outside like this one!
