Girls Day!

We woke up this morning to Tinsel in the china cabinet with her arm hooked through Michael's hunting Santa. I'm not sure if that meant she wished she could have gone hunting with Michael or if she was just letting us know that she was still keeping an eye on him too!
Julia found her old sunglasses in her closet this morning and decided she wanted to wear them. She's one cool girl!
We went to Dothan to exchange something at Toys r Us and couldn't leave without a trip to the mall. Julia watched the carousel go around and around the whole time we were eating so MomAnnette took her on a ride before we left. Of course she said "wheee" the whole time.
When we got back in town Julia and I went to get one of her Christmas presents for Daddy. She picked it out all by herself so I sure hope he likes it. She was so proud of it and insisted on carry it to the car herself.
After we got Michael's Christmas present we went to Wal-Mart. The Marine's were set up outside taking donations for Toys for Tots so we got a toy to donate while we were shopping. I gave it to Julia to give to them. She was a little hesitant of him at first, but walked over and gave it to him. I was just so proud that she didn't yell "Mine!" when he took it. That seems to be her favorite word lately, especially today.
Our last errand of the day was to pick up some shoes I ordered Julia at Kids Korner. When we pulled in they had a Christmas tree in the window that was covered with plush Elve's. As soon as Julia saw them she yelled "Tinsel!" so of course we couldn't leave without one, especially since she can't touch her real Tinsel.
Tonight St. Luke had their live nativity so we drove through. Julia loved seeing the sheep, donkey & goats! Christmas is definitely an exciting time at our house this year!
